    TRAILER PARK TROUBUNE
    Winter Hits the Trailer Park!
    February 2007

    Hello Fellow Flamingo Heads,

It's been a little nippy here in Pine View Heights, and we've been passing the usual cold and flu bugs around, but we're making it, and still smiling! We hope this letter finds you all happy and healthy.

Oh, that Polyesterfest cruise sunshine is sounding better and better!

    Cruisin' On The USS Airstream!

We will be sailing away on the "Airstream of The Seas" for PolyesterFest Cruise 07 in a few weeks. It's not too late to join us, but we'd recommend you call us to expedite the process, as time's a wastin.' Call Sue Wachtel at 615-974- 5647.

We'd like to thank Tommy Emmanuel, Edgar Cruz, Todd Hallawell, and their family and special guests, for hanging out with us, and supporting our “Aluminum Rule,” to Enjoy The Ride.

Of course, The Trailer Park Troubadours, whose talents and abilities to enjoy the ride are amazing, will be on board. These guys are a lot of fun, and we will, as always, play until we think you’ve had enough.

As you may know, keyboard player for The Trailer Park Troubadours, Dacron Dan Becker, and his lovely fiancé, Rachel, will be tieing the knot aboard the ship. They have cordially invited any and all of our cruisers to be a part of the vow- exchanging ceremony late Sunday afternoon, after the guitar workshop.

I think you’ll discover, like I have, that you’re meeting kindred spirits aboard this cruise; people who enjoy good music, like to laugh, and want to be around other positive, inspiring people. Many folks who cruised together last time have become lifelong friends. This, as you can imagine, makes us feel pretty good. Thank you all for being there.

If you weren't able to join us this time around, we are already talking about a cruise to the Bahamas sometime in 2008. We'll keep you posted.

The Real Story Behind "Skinny Women Ain't Hip"

Due to a number of e-mails from helpful Flamingoheads, Antsy has put together another podcast at www.unhitche d.com. It's just over 10 minutes long, and delves into the conceptualizing, writing and feedback of the song Skinny Women Ain't Hip.

What other songs would you like to hear on Flamingohead Radio? Are there any you're particularly curious about; how they came about, or where he comes up with this stuff? Send your comments and questions to Antsy at thetroubs@unhitched.com and let him know. We're working hard to serve you better.
