Clint Howard on The Eagle 106.9 in Fargo, ND - "I’m a big fan of The Trailer Park Troubadours. I think the world needs
to continue smiling and I think the Troubadours help folks with that. I immediately found them to be highly entertaining.
They’re a combination of Jimmy Buffet and The Andy Griffith Show.” Full interview Pt. 1 Full interview Pt. 2

Cashbox Magazine Review by Michael Peace (July 31, 2007) - For the last decade I thought that is what comedy is, “if you don’t see that sticker, then it’s not funny”. Well, Antsy McClain and the Trailer Park Troubadours seem to have re-defined humor so that those stickers are no longer needed. Very refreshing to know that enough thought processing went into this CD to make it truly funny without resorting to the ‘cheap and sleazy’ stuff.  (see Full Review)

Preying Lizard's Pirate Radio Show Podcast - Interview and music (June 14, 2007) - Antsy is interviewed by Les Lewellyn at Preying Lizard Music and includes the songs "When Ruby Falls" and "Ella Mae" from Time-Sweetened Lies as well as "Prozac Made Me Stay" and "The Devil Gets More Credit Than He Deserves" from Trailercana.  Full Podcast at Preying Lizard   Antsy McClain excerpted version (these are large files so they may take some time for download)

Andrew Greenhalgh in InFuze Magazine - "Trailercana will allow those of us who grew up in our mid-America world to chuckle and smile with the familiarity of the characters and situations that are painted for us here. We'll tap our toes to the happy rhythm and smile with the easy jokes. Sometimes that's exactly what we need."  InFuze site  InFuze PDF

Folk Wax Magazine - "The Trailercana philosophy, musically speaking, is to have oodles of fun playing "Folkabilly" tunes for the folks...and maybe, just maybe, it will result in fans, fame, and fortune flowing McClain's way."

Country Music Online Review - "Wildly independent and fiercely creative, Antsy McClain is staking his claim on pop culture."

Jesse Kornbluth - HeadButler.com

**Jesse provided a book review on All Things Considered just prior to Antsy's interview on May 19.  He was so impressed by the interview that he decided to get the CD and do a review himself.  His HeadButler.com site is a treasure trove of book, movie and music reviews. He is also a regular reviewer for many magazines as well as Amazon.com.

"...fun is the reason to seek out this performer. And fun he delivers. Let him give you the tour..." HeadButler link    PDF

Gone Country Magazine - "...the thing that makes this album a must have is the talent behind the music." Gone Country PDF

Amazon.com Reviews - from "B.C." - "Its living in my CD Player";   from "A is for ..." - "It's a gem that is too good for commercial radio - they wouldn't know where to program him" ; from "Americana Man" "...a virtual tapestry of music and lyrics interwoven together..."  Amazon Trailercana Page

Swampland.com - "This one is fresh, funny, danceable and just downright fun. Like spitting watermelon seeds at the four pink flamingos out in front of the trailer on a warm summer evening. Okay, so the analogy is weak. The record sure ain’t."   Swampland Review

Universal Audio Webzine - This is a technical article on how Will Shanks engineered a couple of the songs on Trailercana.  To get an  idea about what it takes to produce music, check out this interesting article.   Analog Obsession by Will Shanks
