Tues, July 14 - Antsy McClain with Pete Huttlinger, Jeff Taylor and Matt Combs - An acoustic, intimate performance with these fine musical virtuosos. Pete is currently accompanying LeeAnn Rhymes, Jeff has just finished a tour with Elvis Costello, and multi-instrumentalist Matt is most recently with the hilarious and gifted Mike Snider. Antsy returns to the very first venue he played when coming to Santa Cruz back in 2000 to support the release of the album Doublewide & Dangerous. Oct. 2 - 5 - MEMPHIS FIELD TRIP with Antsy McClain and The Trailer Park Troubadours! Join Flamingoheads from across the country as we hang out in Memphis, including a recording session at historic SUN Studios, where Elvis, Jerry Lee, Johnny Cash and countless others were first recorded. (This has long been a dream of Antsy's to record an entire album there, and he'd love to share it woth you.) We'll also tour Graceland, we'll stay at The Heartbreak Hotel, and you'll get a full-blown Troubs concert at a world famous Beale St. venue. Room for only 30 People. April 8 - 12 - "Kentucky in Spring" Field Trip. Antsy takes you on another FIELD TRIP, this time to his old stomping grounds of Central Kentucky – where the roots of his music first took hold and started him on this amazing journey – as part of the "Falling in Love with America" Tour. Some of the stops on this trip include a concert at the very first venue Antsy ever played (Leeds Theater, Winchester, KY), a barbecue and acoustic performance at the real Pine View Heights Trailer Park, and we'll visit the places that inspired the songs "Mom & Pop Don't Work Here No More," "Having a Good Time Tonight," "The Clapper Song," and more.
